About me

Hello! My name is Rechee (pronounced Richie). I’m a 32-year-old software engineer who picked up photography as a hobby in 2022. I’m from Florida but I moved to the Bay Area in 2018. I moved to Oakland in 2021 and have come to love living here. I live near Lake Merritt and my daily walks there every day inspired me to get a camera. I didn’t have any previous photography experience but taught myself how to do so.

Now I take my camera everywhere I go, including when I travel. I frequently travel alone where, often, it’s just my camera and I. This website is a gallery for my adventures abroad and in the Bay Area.
